Cap BocageDirector : Jim Marbrook |
In January 2008, at Cap Bocage, a headland on the East coast of New Caledonia, heavy rains washed toxic sludge from the hilltop of nickel mines into kanak customary fishing grounds below. Florent Eurisouké, an independence activist, and his environmental organisation "Mèè Rhaari" take on the mining company and demand that the bay be cleaned up.
